Why join the LAA and Why go to the Convention?

As an active member of the Louisiana Auctioneers Association and an employee of an auction company I often hear, "Why should I join an association and why would I want to go the convention?" My reply is often the same..."Why would you NOT want to join the LAA or NAA?"
Think of the LAA convention as a tool that helps you gain knowledge in your industry, our goal in creating the convention is to help expand your business and contacts. Making it fun and educational for new auctioneers or seasoned vets.
As in life you take away what you put into an experience...go to the convention...join the association.

Louisiana Auctioneers Association 2017 Convention preparation is underway, we encourage everyone to attend this yearly event, we have some awesome guest speakers lined up. Several online auction firms will be on hand to discuss opportunities to expand your business in to the online auction world and/or answer any questions about online auctions. Make sure to enter the Louisiana State Bid Calling Championship and our advertising competitions! Our yearly convention will take place at the Paragon Casino and Resort in Marksville, Louisiana, please make your discounted hotel reservation

Friday, June 2nd starting at 7pm

Casual meet and greet with dinner served.

Saturday, June 3rd Registration begins at 8am

Convention will begin at 9am.

LAA Convention Opens Saturday, June 4th (9am)

You can pay your dues at the convention or pre-register by filling out your membership form and mailing your paperwork, $60 per member fee and any entry fees for the bid calling championship or marketing competitions.
